Beaches

Playa Xago
A hidden gem and quite remote, this expansive, sandy beach can only be reached by foot. It is best that you bring all your needs since there are no facilities. The beach is against a high mountain, giving the place a heavenly feel. For the energetic, the peak is worth climbing -- the view from the top is spectacular.

Playa de Barayo o de la Vega
This popular nudist beach is located in Valdes. It s a lovely stretch of soft sand and quiet solitude. The water is calm and perfect for cooling off. It s a kilometer walk along the estuary and there s also a camping site nearby.

Cobijeru Beach
Looking for a wild beach, one that s surrounded by steep cliffs and is simply a treasure to discover? Cobijeru Beach is what you are looking for. Reached only by foot, you need to get to Buelna and walk along the cliffs. It s a delightful, hidden heaven of sand and sea. Great for diving and snorkeling, it has several coves, inlets and islets. Best to bring all your things here. And don't forget your sandwiches and drinks!
