The town of Llanes is full of bars, cafes, pubs and restaurants. All through the year, there are plenty of places to eat international and local food fare, and drink and dance until late into the night or even to the wee hours of the morning. Here's a selection of them.
Coffee and Vermouth
El Bar del Muelle - Located in the center of town on the main road, the restaurant upstairs serves delicious home-cooking style dishes and a varied selection of tapas. It s great to sit here and watch the town go about its activities, or converse about current events, while relishing a cup of coffee or vermouth.
El Bitacora - Next door to El Bar del Muelle , El Bitacora has a large terrace in summer, where it s perfect to spend an afternoon with hot chocolate and freshly made churros or many different types of sandwiches.
El Madison - A pleasant place to have your drink in the morning. You should also have a taste of their tortitas with cream, fried squid especially prepared by Dorina, rich hot chocolate with churros, various pinchos, and hot sandwiches. It has a large television screen making this bar a popular site to enjoy live football. Also, take advantage of your visit by having a go at the national lottery. Sablón's - Bar and restaurant over the Sablon beach and in front of the beautiful San Pedro walk .
San Pedro - Nestled In the town s center where you can have breakfast, snacks, various dishes and special coffees.
Rocamar - One of the typical places in Llanes for snacks, coffee, or some wine. After lunch, play a game of dominoes or chitchat with the ladies. As evening strikes, the bar becomes a meeting place for friends.
La Laguna - A café in the main street of Marqués de Canillejas .
